Ingredients
2 C. Flour
½ C. Sugar
½ t. Baking Soda
½ t. Salt
2 t. Butter, melted
1 Lg Egg (slightly beaten)
1 t. Vanilla or almond extract
1 C. Frozen or fresh Aronia Berries coarsely chopped
1 Med Orange
Few Walnuts
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9 x 5 loaf pan with cooking spray. Line with Parchment paper that has been sprayed.
Mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt together in large bowl
Grate the zest from the orange and set aside.
Cut the orange in half and squeeze the juice into a measuring cup. Add the grated zest and melted butter to the juice and add enough orange juice to make 1 C.
Stir the liquids into the dry ingredients. Add the egg, extract, walnuts and Aronia Berries; stir to mix.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 1 Hr or until golden brown. Cool in pan and remove to wire rack. Now enjoy the tasty Aronia Orange Bread with your family
